Default muffler on tuned pipe

i am currently using a prather tuned pipe on my OS .46, with a slip on muffler on the end, i think its a mac ..., Can i eliminate the tuned pipe and go with a more conventional muffler or Does anyone know of a quieter set up, it is very loud, especially when on the pipe wide open, thaanks

Default muffler on tuned pipe

For a .46, try an Irwin pipe. They are now being made under the name of Cooper pipes and are available from www.rocketcityracing.com. Mac, Andy Brown and others make a quiet pipe also.
