Default futaba radio

does any body know if the futaba radio system 2er is compatible with the hitec HS-700BB servo? This servo is from

Yes.....and no. Yes the servo will work but it appears the connector is for a JR/Airtronic. The servo will work but you will not have the little notch that the Futaba servo connectors have. If you plug it in backwards don't worry, it simply won't work. Just unplug it and turn the plug around. Most servos today have a universal connector, meaning they will work with just about any modern radio on the market.

Turning it around won't work. Usually just the positive and negative wires have to be swapped around. Get he universal plug if you can from Brian.
What are you going to use this in? That servo is big and heavy. There are smaller standard sized servos that will do the same job.

so dont use the servo for my boat if you want a plug and play thing right.

i have a 48 inch deep vee so i needed the high torque servo.

The wire swap is easy to do so there is no problem in doing it. Some of the big boats like the WHH boats have a cut-out servo tray so you have to use the 700 BB. I used one in my first 7.5 OB tunnel boat as that's what it was set up for but now todays servos are smaller and stronger.
