Hey all,
I've decided to give RC boating a try and I was wondering of some good boats. (duh!
) I was looking at the Traxxas 7.2v Villan and the Hobbico Hammer. I was thinking if I get the Hammer, I could put a Novak 4800 BL in it...bad idea or good? Any other suggestions appriciated. Thanks.

I would go with a fegaio brushless motor combo from offshoreelectrics.com. The combos include the bl motor and a castle creations barracuda 80 controller for 250$. I beleive that the novaks are alot more expensive and don't make nearly as much power. Good luck.

Well, I'm still looking for a boat for <$400.
I need electric because the local lake (park) is too peaceful for a nitro.
I am still looking at the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJD87**&P=0]Traxxas Blast[/link], The [link=http://www.traxxas.com/products/marine/villain_1506/trx_villain1506_over.htm]7.2 volt villan[/link] or the [link=http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByCategory/Product/Default.aspx?ProdID=PRB2150]Shockwave 25[/link] Also, I was thinking of getting a JR XS3 to upgrade my pede and the boat...
Thanks all!
