I got a Billing Boats Thor and I´m wondering what I should use to lubricate the prop shaft, could I use castor oil?

'C.O.T.U.',
What works well for me is a synthetic grease used for fishing reels. Comes in a 'pointy-nosed' tube making it easy to squirt into the stuffing box. I've used it on several boats, no leaks or binding problems yet. Usually available at any sporting goods store
