Default Set Screw

This stupid of me, but some how I managed to strip the set screw in dog drive. So, no matter what hex driver I use I cannot get it out to remove the drive shaft. I do I get that screw out?

Find a little bitty drill bit and drill it out. Or take a Dremel and cut the drive dog in half and replace with a new one, they are pretty cheap.

What about an "Easy Out"? You just screw it in backwards and it will actually act like a good hex head till the set screw comes out. Beats destroying the threads in the drive dog or damaging the shaft when you cut the drive dog off.

you only have 2 choices.
1 drill it out starting with a small drill and work up to a bigger drill bit
2 buy a new one
A easy out will not work. There is no material to grab. Easy outs work better on bolts.
