prop pitch and size
Please excuse my ignorance as I have just taken up this hobby after dreaing about it for 30 years. How do you pick the proper propeller size and pitch for a 38" Tornado with a 540 motor? Using a flat toss launch, it planes out quickly and maintains speed, but as soon as I turn the boat to swing it back around, I lose speed and it takes it a while (15-20') to get planed out again. Will a differnet prop size and/or pitch help in this matter? I measured the prop, however, at this point in time, I cannot recall that measurement.
