fiberglass help please

well i have sanded my dumas chris craft and in a few areas where i sanded the fiberglass, i sanded down to the cloth layer. so i am asuming i put move resin OVER that area and then lightly sand it down and then i will be ok? just need some input on the fiberglass part of this boat.

Yes, apply more resin over the exposed fiberglass and allow the resin to fully cure. Sand the resin to smooth and fair it in. Prime over the area and paint.
I work with fiberglass all the time. It’s normal to sand trough in places

If you are trying to get a real nice glossy finish you should wetsand the spot after the resin cures using 400+ grit and a dollop of dish soap in the water. Then follow that up with some rubbing compound and you will never see the repair.

Hello!!!
Maybe you should sand the primer in order to disappear any small defect, bubbles, etc. then prime over again and paint
