Saw this on tower hobbies. Have read some good things about on some other sites. Looks good for the money.
JD should be able to shed some more light on this boat.

For under $100, one can't go wrong with this boat. It's a fiberglass version of JD's 30" WOF boat. That Caniff style cowl is too cool.. The cowl will be sold by itself! Tower has only 3 colors listed. Believe there will be 4, if not 5 colors to chose from in the near future.

I have always wanted a tunnel boat. Only problem here is lack of places to use them. i wonder if they will produce a Ready to run version. That would certainly get my attention.

The kit does come pretty complete especially for the price tag. you do have to buy your own engine and radio system for it though and I would guess that Tower Hobbies or someone will offer it as a combo kit. They're not that difficult to build. PM krpnova and talk to him as he can set you up with what you need to complete it. The instructions are also online so you can see what it takes to get it ready. Do a search of Tower in the link at the top of the page to see everything about it.

They seem to be doing pretty well, the TS 2 took the top 2 spots at the NAMBA Nationals, (designer Jerry Dunlap took 2nd) no easy feat for any one hull. The water conditions were terrible there, more of a survivors race than anything so they showed how well they handle in the rough stuff. There will be some at next weeks IMPBA Internat's also. If they take home any wood from there it will be quite the feather in Aquacrafts cap going up against much more expensive hulls.

Wish I was heading down there to run! Sorry if I gave you that impression. House hasn't sold yet and she is still here [
] However, heck or high water, I'm heading to the All Tunnel Shootout in Sept.
Don't know if I'll pick up a TS2. Believe it's been stated (IW) that the TS2 does have it's limits. I think it will make a great starter boat and for SPORT racing. From the comments I've seen, don't believe a hot mod motor and TS2 is the ticket. Lynx is the way to go if the plan is to go over the 60mph range. Still working on props for my 29" WOF.
Can't wait to hear how all those B tunnels finish in the race.
