Can anyone give me the answer as to who may have produced this boat and perhaps the name,year etc.

That's an oldie! As it says on the deck, it was made by AMPS. They recently tried to get the business up and running again but failed. I'm guesstimating that it was made in the early '80's by the design. The hull is a collectable but the engine might not be unless it was one of the O.S. engines, it looks like a K&B. AMPS built a lot of tunnel boats in sizes from 3.5cc up to gas outboards. They had their own line of engines usually using the O.S.'s like I mentioned before and a bevel gear solid shaft lower unit instead of the normal flex cable style.
