i would suggest the traxxas villain simply because traxxas is a very reliable company and runnin on one battery it is lighter and is just a better overall boat and trust me on this one you will be much happier[sm=thumbup.gif]

yep, I'm for the villain as well, merely for their reputation. Kysho isnt bad, but imo are more on the toy side of the market. Also the villain 7.2, has been around forever. I'm not sure what if anything they changed from the previous Villain IV, but it was a good boat and honestly if I were to do it again, I'd probably still get the 7.2 over the EX. It's just a solid boat, as we all know its not the fastest boat and no you dont want to make it go over 30mph because it will be unstable, but it's solid.

You planning on modding whatever you get soon after purchase?

there seems to be one problem though, the villain 7.2 seems to be out of stock everywhere....at tower they say they are discontinued....

get the villain ex! it has good handeling and some good performance out of the box. if u want i boat thats ready to see rough waters the best bet is the villain. very easy boat to modify and easy to maintain. traxxas is very helpfull as well.
