OK CUB .049A .049B pull start motors?
Hi guys,
I've been into the old American Junior and Dumas 1/2A tether boats for quite a while but am finding the year designations for the OK Cub pullstart motors to be a bit hard to figure out.
I have a few of the OK Cub .049B motors with aluminum pull start housings and am trying to figure out the vintage.... ? Some of them have the black flywheel on them as well, some don't.
I have heard of the .049MS and the .049S models of 1957 but these don't have any designation other than the ".049B" on them.
How does I guy figure out what specific year he has on these OK Herkimer .049 motors?
Any tell-tale signs or markings?
Really appreciate any replies to this quandry.
