Turn Fin placement
Can any one explain the preferred placement of a turn fin, and why you believe that it would be the correct way to place it?
I have seen them placed at an angle on the right side, vertical on the right side, and also 2 fins, placed at an angle and vertical.
Just want to know so that I can drill a few extra holes in my transom.

you want it so that as much of it is in the water in a turn as possible. and if you have 2 you want each at a right angle with the water surface.
