As a newbie - I need some opinions. What do you recommend as a good ready to run electric for a first boat. I'm looking for something that will plane and have decent speed, but require NO work other than charging batteries. Photos or links would be great as well.
Thanks!!

The Aquacraft Hammer would be good - http://www.aquacraftmodels.com/boats/hcab10-main.html ( main site) and http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXBTE6**&P=ML or the Turbo Vee 2 -http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCRM2**&P=ML

I have to agree with rooski.
The Villian Ex has good speed and can handle choppy water well.
Only thing you really do is charge the batteries and you are cutting a mean wake.
Good luck with your decision.

I would buy a CEN either a wave shark, aqua jet, or grey thunder 775 motor from www.offshoreelectrics.com -way faster than any of the previous listed
