I am wondering how to apply decals using windex. Do i apply the windex where i want the decal, stick the decal on top of the windex, slide into place, force the bubbles out and let dry?

Yup, and windshield washer fluid works too plus is cheaper.

If you've got young kids around the house, a mixture of baby shampoo and water works great too (~1 to 20 ratio)

Dish soap and water also works well and is cheap. I wet an edge of old scrap balsa and use it to rub out the water under the decal. ENJOY !!! RED
