motor mounts
What kind of motor mounts should I use for an .18 pull start engine? Would a set of wood stringers with aluminum sheath work, or should I get a mount from a shop? I'm putting this engine in an ABS hull attached to a jet pump. Any help from somebody with experience would be really appreciated! I don't know how sturdy they have to be. I built a Kyosho nitro viper and it had blow molded stringers with a light metal reinforcment. By the way miniair, I was out to the shop on the weekend to pick up some linkages and what not and got the chance to talk to some of the airplane guys. Learned a lot and had a really good time!
