Default What is this?

I got this boat from my best friend and I remember his dad painting it in the late 80s or early 90s. I would like to get it on the water, but I don't know what it is or what I need to get it there. I know nothing about RC boats and very little about RC in general. Any help would be appreciated.

Nice paint job. I'm not into gas boats but it is a gas boat, a fiberglass one at that. How long and wide is it.

Hi,

I have one just like it. It is a Prather boat. I am assuming it is the same size as mine. It is powered by an OS .46 inboard motor. Any boat shop should have what you need to get it on the water.

Also looks like the PRATHER AGRESSOR II

Nice fun running boats .

And its a NITRO boat , not a gasser . Should use a 46 /60 ish size engine and you'll need all the hardware .

rudder
strut ( and bearings - teflon liners for 3/16 size )
prop shaft ( also 3/16 size )
prop nut ( again 3/16 size )
drive dog ( for prop that goes on prop shaft - 3/16 size )
thrust bearings ( 3/16 size )
flex cable ( 3/16 size )
collet ( to connect 3/16 flex to engine )
starter belt
electric starter
glow ignitor
glow fuel ( of course )
ferrule to connect 3/16 flex cable to 3/16 prop shaft
engine mounts ( for appropriate engine )
tuned pipe for engine ( better , but a muffler would also work )
prop shaft nut
BC prop ( copper one , not the plastic ones )
couple of 4-40 rods ... one for steerring linkage and the other for throttle
package of connectors to go from servo arms to control arms
one standard servo
one high torque ( for steering )
RX / TX set for either 75 or 27 MHz
antenna mount and tube ( for RX in boat )
handfull of misc pieces of allen head bolt and some blind nuts for mounting strut and rudder brackets and also to install engine mount

think thats about it ....
