NQD Aftermarket ESC Set up Idea..
I Want to get My NQD Atlantio Running and Running With as Little Cost as Possible..
Since I can get Tamiya Gear Locally and Cheaply I am Going to use their Bottom Spec Gear..
So The Diagram Above is the Plan I have..
So I Would Use a Cheap Reciever.. Not sure what Kind Just a 2-Channel Cheap Job like Sanwa..
The Idea that I have is to Run one TEU-101BK ESC from Channel one on the Reciever and Run the Other from Channel Two and Wire the 2nd Motor in Reverse...
Do you think this Will work????
Comments, Idea's Suggestions are All Welcome as long as the Cost is low..

You could, but it might get difficult to match the set ups.
It might be worth considering dropping all the weight of the second motor and ESC and mounting a servo and rudder..
If you haven't already noticed this, SJ did this last year.

Far be it for me to advocate the doing away of the differential motor control in favor of using a rudder! Having said that... Much more directional control using a rudder than the two motors thingy, at least in my opinion. If you can 'skootch' all the required electronics into the hull, do so.

Well I Just Bought the Following Gear
Futuba Attack 2ER with FP-R122JE Reciever with two S3003 Servo's
and two RC LINE PC Series No limit ESC's..
Now..
Should I run it on Two 7.2 Volt Batteries, one For Each Motor???
Or is there some way Of Running it on the One 7.2 Volt..

Good news..
It works..
I did have a little Expensive Problem..
One of the ESC's was wired wrong at the factory and this Fried Two of my recievers..
so the Cost of getting the NQD boat floating again has gone up
Next problem I face is where to mount Two 7.2 Volt Batteries..
The Upper Deck has been Built to keep the ESC's and the Reciever with Battery Back up Dry..

The quick-n-dirty answer for the battery locations is 'where ever they will fit'. If there's no convenient place to put them (and why else would you ask?), then think about rearranging things to make room. That's also a 'fun' project. Keeping things symetrical and ballanced is another part of that rearranging thing. 'Stacking' things is an option. The bow area, between the drive shafts, either side of the drive shafts are options. The best you can do, is the best you can do and then it's a matter of living with it. Good luck.

Heres my model:
I currently have two 20t motors
1 novak explorer esc (im getting a esc that can handle 12 cells or 14, for more power.
1 gp3300 battery
Anyone know any good electronics that would replace my 20t motors and my novak esc?
