Default Need Help Rebulding A Boat *Big List of Parts*

My grandma sent me my uncle's old boat he used to race and I want to rebuild it with the parts that came with it. It has none of the parts in it right now and I don't really know much about boats which is why I need help. Here is a list of some of the parts it came with:

Motors -
1 DPI Leisure Sports Motor
2 Elite Speed Products Motors
2 MRP Wizzard Pro Marine Series Motors
2 Pro Trix 552 Motors

Battery Packs -
2 Elite Speed Products 1700 mAh Battery Packs
5 Dynamite Sport 1400 mAh SCR Battery Packs

Servos -
1 JR NES-507 Servo
1 JR Z250 Racing Servo
1 Hobbico Command CS-31 Mini Sevo
2 Futaba FP-S148 Servos

Recievers -
Circus Hobbies Inc. 2 Channel AM Reciever
Team Tekin 2 Channel AM Reciever
Futaba FP-R102GR 2 Channel Reciever
Futaba FP-R112JE 2 Channel Reciever

Radio -
Futaba Attack Sport AM75 Radio

Chargers -
2 Protech AC/DC 701 Super Chargers

Other -
6-7 Metal Props
Whole Bunch of Plastic Parts
Whole Bunch of Misc. Screws

***The outside of the boat says DPI P-37*** (i'm guessing this is the hull? It's around 24" long.)

I guess what I need help with is putting the boat back together. I don't really know all the parts I need and I don't where anything goes. I also don't know how to connect everything and get it to run.

Thank you everyone who helps. I really appreciate it.

A picture of the boat would be helpful in determining what it needs and what it doesn't.

Apicture may help with the missing parts and see what kind of boat you have before we can help.

Sounds like you got yourself a very nice haul of booty there, young matey!

Okay, I think the P-37 is a Cracker Box boat.

It also sounds like you have all the goodies you need to get it running. You should go to your local library and look for some books on model radio control boats. The books will have info and pics on how to hook everything up.

In the meantime, check out this page:

Yep, you've got the DPI Crackerbox boat! I bought one years ago for my son's first boat. They are a lot of fun and will teach you some driving skills as they handle differently than most other boats.
The DPI stock motor will work fine as this is one boat that you don't want to overpower.
You'll only need one servo for rudder control, any will do the job but I've always like the Futaba S-148.
You may need an electronic speed control as I didn't see one listed. A cheap one will work fine for this boat with the motors listed.
The chargers are nice. I've still got 2 old Pro-tech's that I've had for ages and both still do the job.
Props. DPI came with a red plastic prop that worked fine otherwise if you have something like an Octura X-432 or X-435, they will do the job. Look on the hubs of the props to see if you find any numbers.
If the boat doesn't have trim tabs with it, get or make some as they greatly improve the handling of the boat.
Battery placment in the hull has a big effect on how it handles also. Expect some skipping of the boat on the water, it's the nature of the beast. If it bounces then you need to work on the balance by moving the battery pack forward a little at a time until you find its happy spot.
I doubt that I still have the owners manual around. If I find it I can mail it to you.
