Well I bought a Traxxas Blast and its my first boat. Im just getting into the hobby, and I was wondering what is something that should always be done to electric boats to maintain it well. I already read to oil the driveshaft, but I was wondering if there is anything else important or anything just good to do that wasnt included. Also, where are the motor bushings?

Randy,
Just depends on the particular motor. Some can be oiled, most can't be, no need to either.
Also depending on where you run the boat, cleaning it is almost always a good idea, as in washing the duck poop, etc, off of /out of it. Especially if run in salt water! Treat it like you would a 1:1 scale boat, sort of, empty it of all the beer cans...

RE: Maintenence
it says in the instruction manual to re-oil the motor bushings before each day of running, so if you could just explain how to oil them thad be great.

On all of my brushed electric motors, the bushings are completely visible. I would highly recommend oiling them with a light oil. It will keep them clean and provide maximum performance.
Oil the bushings that are on the endbell and the shaft side by spraying an oil of your choice. Then rotate the shaft and repeat if necessary.
