Smoke unit?????

You might check into JJC electronics, and see if that unit will fit your boat.
http://www.jjc-electronics.com/
It might be available through Westbourne Models Centre.

'J.J.',
Can't get a 'smoke' unit from 'jjc-electronics'? Odd, he makes some nice ones. Try someplace that deals with model trains. If they don't have one, just set fire to your boat...

Try a place that sells trains. Aristo Craft makes a nice one that has a low fluid cut off ans has a fan in it. Aristo Craft is made here on this side of the pond but maybe somebody there stocks it.

I would call Westbourne, and ask them. They may not have it online, but since Westbourne is carrying the JJC sound modules, they should be willing to order you up a smoke unit.
If not contact JJC directly via e-mail, or ring them up, and ask where you might buy one.
They are made in the UK, and we can buy them in the US.
I can give you a couple of US distributors, but it would be a shame to pay the VAT for a return trip.

Hi There,
I had a hard time finding a smoke unit for my boat as well. I ended up using Insence Cones! I saw the idea online some where. They work good, they give about 20 minutes of smoke, and they smell good. I just made a holder out of a one inch copper tube plug and drilled a few vents in it and I had smoke. Cheap and easy.

I have a defective sound unit, and am having a heck of a time getting answers from a local distributor. I was trying to get it replaced, now after about 90 days, I just want to return it...[:'(]

I would recommed the 12V one from howes models. It is about £20, but by far the best (in my opinion). I can also vouch that it runs off the smoke fluid you buy from maplins electronics (about £5 per litre).
