Well I ripped a hole in the ABS of my BBY 21 mono. So I decided to build this BBY Volcanic Splash while waiting for Randy Naylor to make me up another hull (50$ mistake ouch!!!)
This is actually my first build of any boat. (the mono was gonna be, but it's trashed now.) I am not really expecting it to run that well as the drilling holes and lining things up roght part is very new to me.
Just wanted to start a thread and post some pics in case something does not look right. I'll be posting more this week and I am hoping to have it finished maybe by this weekend.
LATER!!!!

Just how badly did you mess up the other hull? I repaired one that even I didn't think that I could save. My wife hit a retrieve boat WOT avoiding an idiot at a race. Yes, the retrieve boat was docked at the time but anyway I found it easier to fix after I'd gotten some tips on fixing it. ABS hulls are some of the easiest ones to mend.
Mine was a DPI 3.5 OB tunnel that has the fronts of the sponsons bent upward from the impact.

well, I tore a 1x3 hole in the ABS. Being a brand new boat, I do not really want to repair it. I'm just going to spend the loot and get another hull. Thanks anyway ron.
