Clippard Minimatics is what we use in the US.
Don't know if they have a UK distributor.
We use a lot of MAV-3 valves. These hold upstream pressure from the supply, but vent any down stream pressure.
What it sounds like you want, is a Clippard MAV-2 series, I believe these will start and stop pressure from the supply, and then maintain any down stream pressure between the valve and its end use.
