Buddy and I had out a couple RC boats at Como Lake in Coquitlam, BC, Canada.
His newly built destroyer, and my helibarge with ducted fans for engine thrust.
He had a small problem with the drivetrain and I had to use my helibarge as a rescue platform.
Hillarious footage on www.livevideo.com/realronin and it will also be on www.youtube.com/rcfreehold

Heh, cool video. Too bad it didn't go better for your friend on his first test run.
I'm in Burnaby myself, so Como Lake is only about 20 minutes or so from where I am. I'm usually boating in Deer lake with my TT Victoria sailboat.
