Do these things do the same thing that a y-harness does for batteries? You know, two batteries connect to one of them and then you connect it to the ESC.

The first one connects two (identical!) batteries in parallel (double the Capacity, same Voltage).

The second one connects both (identical!) batteries in series (same Capacity, doubles the Voltage).
