Default miss budweiser prop shaft problem

i took my miss budweiser boat out today and the prop shaft came disconected from the motor so I took shaft completely out to look at and noticed that the set screw came out. However I cannot get the prop shaft back through the hole where it comes out and reconnects to the motor. Any suggestions would be great. I can see the shaft but I am unable to force through hole. PLEASE HELP THANKS

yeah try using emery cloth or a very fine sand paper to try and get the tiny little burs off..the burs were probably caused by the set screw comming loose and rubbing on the shaft,,thats the only thing i caqn think of ..look for some burs on the end where the set screw tightens down,,try that dude,,!!!!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no thing but prop and rudder tips.....

Sorry to interrupt, but i noticed you talking about the bud boat and if i'm correct it was made by MRP? A friend of mine just aquired a MRP FAST CAT partially assembled, mint condition. I'm trying to find more info or spec. sheets, directions etc. so we can finish it and run 'er. Any help is deeply appreciated--Thanks to all!!--Messn03--[:@]
