Wisconsin gets below 0 quite often. I'de have something else to do besides snowboarding and ocasionally running my rc trucks in the winter time. Especially when I'm going to build a brushless micro mogli soon and it'll be sitting on the shelf until like april[:'(]. Good thing I have snowboarding. Nitro's can be tough to run in sub-zero weather. But the mamba max stays cool as long as I can keep it dry.

Their are indoor local motocross in the winter is in a couple of places in Michigan, and I hear they do well. I don't see why this would be any different---but I need room for larger boats. Thats probably not going to happen for me.

I found a video online a couple years ago that showed some Norwegian electric boaters running at a HUGE indoor swimming pool in the winter time. These were really big FE boats and the sound echoing inside the building was pretty spectacular!
If I lived where the water gets hard in the water I would go for a $20 ticket to run all winter long, heck yeah! [sm=thumbup.gif]

There is a swimming pool here in Oregon where you can put your boats in the water for two hours... No gas... and you have to play nice with the Kayakers...
Entry is $2.00 - $9.00 depending on whether you are in or out of the park's tax district.

Jusy a thought. You imght want to contact the Mid-Michigan Electrics Unlimited, www.mmeu.com to let them know what you're up to as they might have a lot of members interested in running there. Most of them are on that side of the state anyway.
