Default JR XS 3 Pro Radio

A friend of mine has a JR XS 3 Pro radio he used for an airplane.

It's a 3 channel, 10 memory synthesized for channels 60 through 99.

Can this be used for a boat?

Yes, but I'd like to know how he used it for a plane! Besides the legality of those not being plane frequencies it must have been interesting to use to fly with.

a 3 channel with 2 proptional channels and one AUX with a single mode must have been hard.

I'll have to check. He also said the instructions said it could be used for a RC Car and that would be a surface radio.

True, as that's what we use anyway. I have the older JR XR-3 radio.

Fuelman8,

I currently use the JR XS 3 on all my boats, it is the same as the Pro except for the color (black), number of model you can have in memory (6) and a slightly different receiver (the Pro comes with a 310 Rx and the regular XS 3 with a 300).

Both of those radio system are 3 channel, 75Mhz FM - Synthesized frequency, they both are surface radio, they can be used for anything that is surface, Boats, trucks, cars etc...

illegal for Air use, planes, Heli etc...

Dan.

This is the radio system that I also use and never had a problem with glitching.
