A friend of mine has a JR XS 3 Pro radio he used for an airplane.
It's a 3 channel, 10 memory synthesized for channels 60 through 99.
Can this be used for a boat?

Fuelman8,
I currently use the JR XS 3 on all my boats, it is the same as the Pro except for the color (black), number of model you can have in memory (6) and a slightly different receiver (the Pro comes with a 310 Rx and the regular XS 3 with a 300).
Both of those radio system are 3 channel, 75Mhz FM - Synthesized frequency, they both are surface radio, they can be used for anything that is surface, Boats, trucks, cars etc...
illegal for Air use, planes, Heli etc...
Dan.
