SV27 ESC, HELP PLEASE!!!!!
hi all,
i have just recently finished building a 20inch hydro, 24inch including rudder and strut ect.
some time ago i bought a supervee 27 brushless motor and esc, although neither the esc or motor came with any specs.
i was running the esc and motor for some time in a mono hull with 12 4200ma cells. i was wondering if anyone new how many cells this esc and motor could run and wats the max input volts for this esc as its currently running 14.4?? as i am looking for some more speed. also i was wondering if this esc could run any lipo's and if so how many cels and what max amps/volts ect?? oh and one last thing, i heard a couple of treads about running a receverpack wen running more that 14 cell, is this necisary??
any advise and information would be muchly appreciated,

thanks, i thort i could run 14 cell, but i was'nt 100% certain and didnt want 2 risk it.
do some esc's have them installed already? or will i have 2 go buy 1? i have no clue due to it came with no information or specs what so ever, and im finding it very hard 2 find specs for the motor and esc.
if i have to buy 1 and im looking at running 12-14 NiMH cells, what cheep $20/$35 BEC would you recommend? or will i be looking at something a little bit more exspencive.
please keep the advise coming!!

All I could find from Tower's web site is that the motor is a B36/56, 7.2-18V and the ESC is 45A.

thats were i ordered it from sometime ago, must have just recently put those specs up about how many volts it could run.
any help with what BEC to get would be a great help!!!
Could someone please tell me what B36/56 attualy means???

Is it 100% sure that i can put 2 * 7Cell NiMH 4500mAh to my SV27 and don´t have to do anything to make it work properly?
I think that i saw somewhere earlier a topic that u should change something if u go for 14cells?

If you jump over to the fast electric section, there are all kinds of SV threads on batts, esc"s and motors
