Places to go?

I was wondering where are some good places to run gas and electric boats in or around Houston, Texas since I am there most of the time?

I also wanted to know where are some places around Lafayette, Louisiana?

All I can really tell you is to try the sanctioning body websites, www.impba.com and www.namba.com .

I tried that already. I found one group close in Louisiana and none close in Houston.
