There are strppers out there that are made especially for stripping paint from fiberglass without harming the surface. This is just one example of many:

your local autobody paint store has spray can striper for fiberglass and plastic. wont harm the fiberglass or plastic surface.[8D]

I cant remember now,but can get the info by tomarrow morning. Got to get some materials at my local paint store. I know 3M makes a fiberglass striper and SEM does too. You can try with these two brands.[8D]
