Default Proboat Blackjack 26 Brushless

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate anyone who could help me.

I recently purchased a blackjack 26 Brushless. I took it to the local pond and ran it slow to break it in. After about two minnutes I began to give the boat more power and wow it was really moving. Then the problem happened. When I gave the boat full throttle it cut off and I had to return the throttle to the neutral position on the remote and then slowy give the boat gas again to start it moving. It does this now everytime I try to give it full throttle or "gun" it.

Any ideas on how to correct this.

I was wodering if maybe there is a way to reset the ESC.

Thanks so much to anyone wiling to help

Ditto....

and it's brushless....you NEED to run it WOT. Brushless systems are ment to be run wide open. You run it partial throttle, the ESC and motor is gonna build more heat then it being run wide open...I doubt it the first time out, but you may have damaged the ESC...possibly.

Get the programmer and reset the ESC. If that does'nt work, call proboat and see if you can send it back in for a replacement.

I am by no means an expert, but that is the advice that was givin to me when I used to run electrics. Always worked well for me. partial throttle and a brushless setup in a boat is a NO NO.
