Where is the best store online to shop for the equipment needed to build a simple electrical boat from scratch.
Apart from ebay or is that the best.

It depends on where you are in the world. (I see you are in Ireland?)

Have you checked the Net for 'model shops / hobby shops' in your area?.
Try the Yellow pages also.

If there are no model shops on note within a travelling distance radius, search for model shops that do Internet sales.

Would 'items' shipped from the UK be too expensive?

here ya go try this place they do all the aeromarine stuff as aeromarine doesnt always ship to uk as they company has the agency for them in the uk
