Default sealing the canopy on a v24

I have a aquacraft v-24,and the canopy does'nt fit tight so when water comes in it stalls the carb. is there someone that has taken care of this problem and if so how did you do it? thanks

I used self adhesive foam weather stripping fromn Walmart. Cheap, water tight and it doesn't soak up moisture. I lined the canopy on the inside so you don't really even see it.

I use radio gear tape. Works well.
