Hey there!

welcome to RCU.
a few things that we need to know so we can help you into choosing the boat you want is:

what is your budget ($$$$)
do you have a hull type preference (Cat, Deep Vee).

Dan.

hey Dan, my budget is somewhere around $500, I guess that a vee hull would be best for choppy water.
thank's for replying.

To be really honest with you, you're not going to get fast for $500.00 unless you find a good used boat. A new gas boat that's half-way decent will set you back another couple of hundred dollars.

Have you been looking around already, did you find a few boats that interested you?

if so, put a few links up, we can have a look and point you in the right direction.
Also what is your definition of FAST (you have a number in mind) and what size waves are we looking at?

Dan.

How about this one at $750.00? It'll take rough water running: http://69.49.183.35/ProductDetails.a...uctCode=SuperG

Yup, seen a few of them.
Tony has a great rep otherwise he wouldn't have been around for 20+ years.
They are a hard to beat boat for the bucks and will take a beating as they don't spare the 'glas.

I am certainly not a beginner boater but can tell you it is an AWESOME boat. It is as simple as you need and as much fun as you could hope for.

I did this little write up when I got my boat. It is a lot more fun than most boats I own and something that requires SO MUCH LESS WORK to use.

I acutally picked it up from a guy in West Haven CT
