i have a little experience with rc boats but would like to know if i should buy a aquacraft mini rio, proboat apache, proboat mini v, or the proboat mini cat. i might be upgrading to brushless in the future which one of these would be easiest to upgrade

Opening up a huge can of worms here with that question. All these boats have been covered over and over again on these forums. Search around and spend some time reading these postings. You'll certain to find your answers....unless you have a very specific question about one or the other?

i have done the brushless on the mini-v and after reading most of the mini rio thread i would go with it . as being the easyest and cheapest to upgread . but just so you can see a mini-v with a 28-35 -2700 motor on 3s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhQ9XtjiAPk

i was thinking a catamaran to battle the waves here in michigan. but the proboat mini v and mini cat are not water cooled so that just presents more problems. so i was thinking the apache or rio because there water cooled already so it would just be swapping some tubes around. so i might go with the apache after researching it mainly because the mini rio has to be charged by a cigarette lighter on the stock battery so until i up graded it (between in a month or two) i would rarrely get to drive it i'm only 15 don't have a car yet.
also if you have any more suggestions on cheap boats like this id love to hear them.

The nice thing about the small electric boats is that they really don't make noise so you shouldn't get hassled by The Man. Just run them away from waterfowl and swimmers.
You might want to remove your last line after the comma before you get a note from the Mod's in here and they take it out for you.
