Default which motors should i use

hi
ok i am starting my lcm 52" by 15 wide 1/16 scale that will be carrying a heng-long 1/16 scale tank, i am thinking of the graupner 600 bb or the Long running torque motor for scale boats
GR6372 SPEED 720 BB Turbo 6-12V Electric
Motor ,that will be two motors tied into one esc from mcd sc-480 and a 12 volt gelcell ,now the motors say 6-12 volt dose that mean that you can power it at 6 volt or 12 i will be using two three blade props ,thanks

Default RE: which motors should i use

I run 2 Graupner 700s 12v rated motors off of one Pro Boat $40 esc using Dumes dog bones, I reemed the 3/16" coulping out to 5mm with a 5mm round file, I run on 12 volts, 10 cells about 6 or 7 times now with 1-3/4" 3 blade brass Dumas props, with 2" pitch. I can hold the esc in my hane after running it wide open for 30 seconds at the end of a 30 minut run and stop period. The 720 pulls less amps than the 12v 700s. Might save some money. Randy, and I use the bec.
