I'd keeped a .150 in it and drilled and taped my coupler to fit my motor.. Most of them are 1/4 by 28 thread count..[8D] It worked on my oberto.. and vegas running a .150 cable. What.25 did you get??[&:]

I got a vertex it was cheap and I figured if it the boat sunk to the bottom of the pond I wouldn't be out much $. Its weird the there aren't any threads at the end where the collett would go. There's threads for the flywheel but none for the collett. Is this normal? How do I get the collett to stay on?

What's an sg crank? I do have a OS flywheel that I'm running on my .18 go engine which I was gonna use on this motor. Down to one hull so the go engine will take some needed rest.

RE: .25 engine drop in
The collett is a stock collett from an a blackjack 26 nitro I had before I sold it. I think the answer you were looking for is no there's no screw. I found a collett on funrcboats.com and ordered one for non-thread crank. Hope it works
