Default Reciever pack question

I was wondering if a 7.4V/800mah/10C lipo would work ok as a reciever pack. I had two of them laying around and though I might make some use out of them. I have expensive spektrum recievers and I thought I would get some advice before I go and fry something.

The Spektrum rx will be OK with the 2S input, but your servos might not like it.

The voltage rating is at the bottom of the specs on this link:

Just solder in a cheap BEC from eBay , I'll work fine thenNewRC UBEC BEC device 3A max 5A 5v ~ 6v Low RF noise Free
