Good day gentlemen.
Recently I have been considering the acquisition of a RC boat. I have been browsing through some websites but still I remain somewhat confused. Ive seen RTR kits and some kits requiring buildging but, aside from the RTR kits, I cant always find out if the kit includes all necessary equipment for running or is it bought separately. Things like that. But not wanting to start off a discussion that has probably been had many times before, Id like to ask a few specific questions:
1. May you provide me with links to European based on-line vendors with a good track record?
2. I am looking at the Thunder Tiger Kingfisher boat as a first kit option, any impressions from that kit I will be thankfull for.
3. Im generally atracted towards end of 19th/beginning of 20th century tugboats, can you point me to some particular beginner friendly kit?
4. Any decent RTR kits regarding No 3.?
With regard to the above, I should say Im on a very tight budget since Im already into RC tanking and 1/35 scale afv modelling and the Mrs' patience is going really thin.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Leggeron,
How's your German?
I find this one a mouth watering offer:
http://shop.strato.de/epages/6143355...ducts/11101011
The kit doesn't come with everything required for the build, but the shop can make suggestions and provide you with what you need to complete the boat.
If the language is a problem, write in English, or ask me to translate (pm).
Regards, Jan.

Many thanks for the links. The German one has some really nice stuff and the UK one is a great reference for what to look for.

Very happy with service from Hobby Lobby Modellbau, but
I have never made any large purchases. Just accessories.
Shipping is spendy at best.

From the UK, Cornwall has also been spot on.
