I have bought recently a new Segad electric speed racing boat, it comes RTR and the radio is a pistol type. The boat is a very fast one (45-72 Km/h) but because im new in RC boat, and since that im only doing Helicopters and Airplanes, im already used to the sticks type Radio, so, i bought 2.4 Futaba 3CH sticks radio to replace the pistol one. I wanted to know your opinion guys on runing speed boat but with stick radio instead of the pistol one, does it make a difference.

i say use your skills and if thats with a stick radio then go for it.

If a boat is approaching another object that fast, you don't want to be spending time thinking about what your fingers should be doing. You are used to sticks, go with them.

Since am so use to stick's. I hate pistol's when i try to go use one everything seams to be backward for me
