Hi
I'd like to use an RC boat to bring a bait further into the ocean without have the running expenses of a real boat. I need a boat with an electric motor that can take the corrosive ocean environement, that can go fast enough to go around big wave and take smaller wave without capsizing, that can carry 1 Kg, and with as much range (500m+) as possible. There are already some boat doing that but I'd like a bit more range and power than they have.
Have you got any suggestion of a good boat that I could use as a base for developping my idea?
Also, I don't now much about RC boats, any suggestion of a website or book that covers the subject extensively?
Thanks a lot.

You are going to need a VERY big boat / power / batteries to see something at that range. Your costs may well end up in the area of a real boat.
