Grim's prop will be fine.

The Octura 2 blade prop you are looking for is the Y535.
it has been the best all around prop.

thanks, thats exactly what prop it is, i just didnt remember exactly, is the grim prop comparable? im cutting and balancing it today and giving it a shot. can it be ran at the same depth as the Y535? right now im a 3/8" off the hull to center of the shaft and it flys, but it only reaches top speed in tight circles. my friend is running the grim prop deeper than mine on a stock vegas and his performs better than stock.

ill update my sig so you know my set-up

Grim's prop is the equivalent to the Y535.

Buried deep in the Vegas thread somewhere Grim's prop was tested in comparison to the Y535, they were pretty close but I believe the end result was that the Y535 still come up as best overall.

it should work at the same setting, but it won't hurt trying at different setting to get the best performance.

Dan.
