Finding the best prop to get the best out of the motor available is a bit of a black art. Often, bigger props put a heavier load on the motor which is then unable to spin up to speed. What is needed is a faster moving column of water rather than just shifting more water, so, counter-intuitively, smaller props might be better. It could also be that the props fitted are the best for the motors, in which case, any change will not be for the better.
