Zig Zag Racer 3 Waterproofing

I have a Zig Zag 3 racer and I would like to know what are some ways of making sure no water gets in the hull of the boat? What are some ways to keep the top shell on better?

tape it down w/ hatch tape.
I run mine in the ocean and surf waves with it and it stays dry inside.
