I have a rio 51 that starts fine but as soon as I put it in the water it dies. If I put it in slowly and ease the prop into the water it will run until I let it go and when the prop bites it just dies. I must have the carb out of adjustment. Can someone help? I'm new to this.

it sounds as if your idle adj. is to low and your mix is to lean.

Ok Ill set the HSN out a little more, and give it more throttle on start up.
