I am building an Orca boat, I coated the inside and out side with polester resin, there are some low spots on the hull I want to fill and I would like to use epoxy resin with micro bloons, I have used it in the past and like the control I have. The questian is, If I first use polester resin, then, sand most of that resin off with 60 grit, then epoxy resin with micro bloons in the low spots, then sand off the surface of that epoxy resin off with 60 grit, then a few coats of polester resin with in between sandings, will that work O.K. Thanks, Randy.

The problem is the order in which you are doing things. Epoxy will stick to practically anything. Poly us generally considered not compatable with epoxy when applied over cured epoxy. There is not a good bond between them. Sort of like paint types, some can be applied over the other, but not the other way around.....now that I've confused you, it's basically epoxy over poly, not poly over epoxy.
