Default Newbie question

Hiya all,
Am rather sick and tired of waiting for the wind to die down so that I could fly my Mini Max. Thus, bought myself one of those cheap Nikko boats. Was okay, but a bit too slow for my taste. Been looking at a couple of the RTR's from Kyosho and Graupner. What are these boats like for a newbie? Any suggestions? Being a student, can't really afford much, so low cost options will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Looking at the Kyosho Jet Arrow and Viper-R. Only thing about a Jet Arrow is that the ESC has no reverse speed. But then, I should be able to replace it right? Any better suggestions than these?

yes, you can replace it, both are good boats, itll be personal preference to which to buy, but always take a tennis ball on a fishing reel, even with electrics! you never know!

Right. Thanks JohnVH, hope that I won't need the fishing line!
