Well its about 15 degrees out and the snow is flying.
Anyone lucky enough to be somewhere that you can actually run your boat?

Running mine every chance I can get here in the SF Bay Area. Suppose to rain this weekend so its Lauterbach build time
. Weather here hardly ever freezes.....50*-85* year around. Don't worry.....we pay for it being one of the highest taxed places to live in the U.S.

Couldn't go boating today because it's raining. But temperature is over 60, so I'll be out next week when it stops.
Good luck,

Ran Sunday, weather @ 50 degrees and overcast. Had a maiden voyage of my winter time building project started @ early November to present.

With 30" of snow already on the ground, another 12" expected today, not much boating going on at all. Heck, even with my lifted truck, still hard to get out of the driveway!

So, how did she run? I saw your posting over at Jim's, nice work on that header!

That RZ sure runs hard and will make the job of finding upper 70's low 80's pretty easy ... I hope

We got the sanding done now if she would just decide on a shade of pink. Lol

Clear 'flake top-coat. Big money, Pearl Pink.
Saw one dude who raced white with pink lace edged boats if anyone remembers the "lace" paint jobs from the `70's. Nobody questioned his sexuality as he brought along a posse of some fine looking women with him and did some winning also.
OK, back to the snow thing. My kid just came in the house after snowblowing my driveway and sidewalk then hit some neighbors houses while he was out. He looked like Frosty the Snowman walking in the back door. Yeah, he's a big boy.
The mail lady was griping last week about a lousy 1/2" on my sidewalk, she's really going to be hot tomorrow! [sm=lol.gif] We've only got about 4" right now and it's still coming down at a good clip. We should have a foot or more by tomorrow morning. That's no big deal up here as most of us are used to it, it's the ice underneath that's shutting down sections of the highways here from slide-offs.

I think what we are going to do is get a couple bottles of sparkly pink pearl nail polish and some laquer thinner and put it in the air brush

Excellent point, I hadn't thought of that. What finishes are nitro safe.
Not that ours actually uses nitro, but that's another story, lol
