Here are several pictures of R/C drag boats. These have been designed and built in fiberglass by a member and friend of mine. He is one of the few members here onRCU that builds his own hulls. Many threads onDana's work throughout the forums. I have no doubt he will chime in here.

no i sold my full size drag boat but my cousin runs a top fuel hydro so im still around it alot....hey RJ i was wondering what this boat use to be i got it in a trade and it was in bad shape

Yeah, thats an old Dumas 36 inch Atlas van lines U-71 hull, sport 40. Only thing missing is the front and rear cowl. I have one that still in the box that I plan on building this summer.
heres some pics of one thats complete.
Your drag boat project should run like a rigger in the straights, but slow her down in the turns, or at least add a larger turn fin to keep from hooking if you wish, but for just straights, no turn fin needed.

yea thats the boat it was missin the front and rear cowl so i made me one to make it like a drag boat i will be goin straight only i hope it runs good lol
