is this chinese radio off ebay any good? I ask because my friend saw it & thought the price was great. I told him that I would stick with the airtronics or similar 2.4 radio. His idea is that the airtronics is most likely made in china too. Am I right in thinking that the airtronics is a better radio then this ebay one? I just wouldn't feel safe running anything at high speed with an off brand radio.
What are your thoughts?
Thanks, Rich

I had one of those radios, the brand name was "Eurgle". It is a knock-off of a KO Propo Helios EX-10 radio:

The Eurgle is actually a decent radio. You can also buy it from Hobbypartz, same radio different name:

The thing about this radio though, is it is a very complex computer radio and requires quite a good bit of attention and patience to get all the variables programmed correctly. It is really intended for racing cars that need umpteen adjustments to steering, braking, throttle management, etc. For a boat, it is way overkill.

Thanks for the info guys, I will pass it along to my friend. I'm going to stick with the airtronics myself. Now I just have to save up for 3 more receivers.
